At Rose Canine Massage, we are passionate about helping dogs recover from soft tissue injuries and manage chronic pain. Our professional canine massage therapist trained for two years at the Canine Massage Therapy Centre, studying canine anatomy, physiology and over 50 techniques including the Lenton Method®. Each treatment plan is bespoke and uses a combination of gait and postural analysis, palpation, advanced body mapping and the four disciplines of massage:
Clinical canine massage is a non-invasive complementary therapy that helps rehabilitate soft tissue injuries and supports chronic pain management for orthopaedic conditions such as arthritis and hip or elbow dysplasia. By identifying areas of overcompensation clinical canine massage helps to restore normal fascial tension, reduce pain and increase mobility.
Lucy has a lifelong passion for dogs, having grown up around them. Her interest in clinical canine massage first began 6 years ago when she was seeking treatment options for her sister's 13-year-old cockapoo, Milly, who was experiencing mobility issues.
Lucy has completed the 2-year LANTRA-accredited Clinical Canine Massage Practitioner Programme at the Canine Massage Therapy Centre, which involved over 1,200 hours of learning and practical skills training.
